CoolSoft, LLC (www.CoolSoftLLC.com) announces the re-release of the enhanced Speak-to-Mail 1.0, an email sending utility that enables users to create and send email using voice recognition. Speak-to-Mail 1.0 is a speech to text email utility solution that lets users dictate and send email with Outlook Express, Outlook and Netscape 7.x, without touching a mouse or keyboard. Speak-to-Mail 1.0 reads the contact information from the user's default email program and uses voice recognition to let users select recipients, dictate the subject and body and send the email entirely by speech. Speak-to-Mail 1.0 also includes natural language modeling technology so users can start and setup an email in a single sentence. It even lets users ask for and be read a contact's phone numbers.

Like SpeakToText 2.0, CoolSoft's other speech recognition software, Speak-to-Mail 1.0 is an ideal solution for helping users prevent or manage carpal tunnel syndrome or who have other disabilities that make it difficult to type.CoolSoft, LLC acquired the rights to Speak-to-Mail 1.0 from a third party in 2004, and since then has made significant enhancements and upgrades to the program's fuctionality. "Speak-to-Mail 1.0 speech recognition software is an ideal compliment to our other speech recognition products," said Paul Lagassey of CoolSoft, LLC. "Now people can write and send their email without having to use their mouse and keyboard. And best of all, Speak-to-Mail 1.0, is priced much lower than most speech recognition programs, giving users an excellent value for their money." Lagassey went on to say "This was an important consideration in our decision to re-release Speak-to-Mail 1.0 under the CoolSoft umbrella."Speak-to-Mail 1.0 has a user-friendly interface and comes with state-of-the-art voice recognition technology from Microsoft Corporation. The SpeakToText 2.0's echo feature even lets the user dictate directly into other applications.

Speak-to-Mail 1.0 comes with a detailed user manual, an easy to follow quick start guide, and a "How To" video on setting up and training speech recognition. ""Our goal is to make it easy for users to succeed in using speech recognition. With these resources, in a short time, users can become experts at using speech recognition," says Lagassey. "We hope our compliment of speech to text products will help users get the most out of using voice recognition with their computers."The voice-to-text solution also gives users the ability to dictate to a number of other programs and applications. To learn more about Speak-to-Mail 1.0, see a demo video and get a free 30 day trial version, visit the CoolSoft website at: http://www.coolsoftllc.com/main.asp#9About CoolSoft, LLCCoolSoft, LLC is a privately held Florida limited liability company, dedicated to creating and developing software applications that are fun and easy to use, practical and affordable.

Ok, for those of you still waiting, the Internet won't go away. Hang up the hopes that it represents a passing fad sharing the fate of the Beanie or the Pet Rock. With legitimate high-tech stocks finally in the market, regular people doing "real" business online, and consumer acceptance to the point of purchasing movie tickets and homeowners insurance over the Internet, the Web is here to stay. However, many people still get that glassy-eyed, far away dreamer look on their faces when they think of the riches awaiting them on just the other side of their own dot-com. Well, whether your business represents a laptop on a TV tray in the basement, or a mega-corporation with offices all over the world, my last 7 years in the Wild West online has revealed a few "truths" which should last from here until the end of computers.

** There is no get-rich-quick! ** I guess it's in man's nature to desire instant wealth. Since the dawn of history, people threw common sense to the wind and went off in search of "buried treasure." Unfortunately, instead of discovering riches, most just ended up buried under a load of debt, misery and despair themselves. In the late 1990's we saw the modern day equivalent of a gold rush with high-tech stocks, dot-com companies, and investors who threw common sense to the wind. Well, we all know the result. ** The "Secret" to online business success! ** Would you like to know the real secret to making money online that will govern the Internet for all eternity? Here you go: Spend less than you make.

That's right! Simple math creates millionaires on the Internet! Regardless of the market, size of your enterprise, or the nature of the product or service you sell, the people who make money online spend less than they make in revenue. The companies that make money are the ones who let someone with basic math skills run the advertising department! ** People don't buy refrigerators online! ** That's right, most people don't buy refrigerators online, but to look at the way some companies operate, you'd swear they did. Here's how people use the Web to buy a refrigerator (or any other major purchase): they go online, research different models and prices, look for a local store, go to the store, and buy one. Companies that use the web to make money (instead of wasting it by the bucket-load) understand the difference between closing the sale online and providing information that leads to making the sale at a physical location. ** The quick and the dead! ** People who buy online have little or no patience.

They go online to get information NOW, or to place an order NOW, or to get their questions answered NOW! The online world is a "right NOW" world, where wait times get measured in seconds and people get mighty testy if their needs don't get met immediately. Speed, not size, determines the victor in e-commerce because the businesses that meet people's immediate expectations as quickly as possible (if not faster) ultimately win..

I often use copy and paste to take content from one e-mail and add it to another. Because of the cost of ink and the limited knowledge of some of my friends, I usually like to make fonts smaller and change them from color to black. But I often have a hard time changing both the font and the color, and sometimes I can't do either. I'm wondering whether this has something to do with the originator's programs. In any case, I'd appreciate any help that you can offer in this area.Whether you reply or copy/paste, cleaning up formatting in HTML-based e-mail messages can be tough.

Just because the sender liked pale green text against a background of clouds doesn't mean your reply needs to be equally illegible. The easiest solution is to convert the message to plain text and then, if desired, back to HTML. To do that in Outlook, you would select Format | Plain Text from the message's menu, click Yes to confirm you want to discard the formatting, and then select Format | HTML. Using just the keyboard, you can accomplish this by typing Alt-O, T, Y, Alt-O, H. In Outlook Express, you'd select Format | Plain Text, click OK to confirm, then select Format | Rich Text (HTML).

Again, this would be Alt+O, X, Spacebar, Alt+O, and R on the keyboard. Once you've removed the unwanted formatting, you can format the remaining text any way you please..

Much like any other piece of furniture, selecting computer desk plans requires a little bit of fore thought. There are a number of questions that you need to ask yourself before committing to a design. This will save some disappointment after the project is complete. Consider these 10 points before getting started. 1.

When planning your office make sure there is sufficient power close to where you plan to put your desk. It is possible to have power points right at your desk if there are computer components that are only used occasionally.2. Use a species of wood that is going to be able to resist the heavy weight of the computer components. A hardwood species such as Oak or Maple will provide the strength needed to resist these forces.3. Using the right species of wood will resist the weight of the computer components but the joinery used should also provide the maximum gluing surface area and thus the maximum strength.

Joints like dado's for the carcase, dovetails or finger joints for the drawers and mortise and tenons for any end grain to side grain connections.4. Be aware that solid wood expands and shrinks with changes in humidity. This is important on any solid wood project and should be accounted for when attaching the desk top to the carcase.5. If you intend to store file folders or other heavier items in the drawers of your computer desk it is important to use hardware that will carry the weight of these items.6. Plan for the number and size of computer components that you have now or intend to get in the future.

Choose a set of computer desk plans that will provide enough space for all your needs.7. If you are limited for space consider storing some of the components in the desk.8. If you intend to store your computer tower in a closed part of your desk be sure that there is adequate ventilation.9. Use keyboard trays to free up space on your desk and provide a dust free storage place while it is not in use.10. Be considerate of ergonomics.

Most computer desk plans are fine in this respect but if you draw your own plans make sure that you are going to be comfortable with the finished product. Visit a furniture store to get ideas about keyboard height, etc..

Houston, Texas (ContentDesk) October 16, 2003-- FrogPad, Inc. was featured on TechTV's The Screen Savers Show October 13, 2003, the day it launched its new FrogPad USB keyboard after three and a half years of research and development. Patrick Norton of TechTV noted, "Tiny keyboard promises to rescue office workers with limited desktop space."FrogPad, Inc., the innovator in data entry for mobile and communication devices, licensed its intellectual property to KaizenFrogPad, Llc. to manufacture and distribute the new keyboard. The FrogPad? keyboard's patented technology offers one-handed data entry for mobile and desktop computing devices.

FrogPad is the only one-handed keypad that replicates every function on the standard keyboard, including the Function keys, truly making it the contender for setting a new keyboard standard for any text-intensive mobile application. The one-handed patented FrogPad keypad design incorporates many human interface elements to ensure ease of use such as ergonomics, letter usage and frequency, as well as simultaneous key function change. The first FrogPad, Ion Class, was designed for right-handed individuals. The left-handed FrogPad will be available in early 2004, and the BlueTooth model in mid-2004. All of these elements combine to create the smallest, most productive and most usable form factor for text-intensive applications. "FrogPad simply is the new mobile keyboard standard for fast, easy and accessible data entry," said Linda Marroquin, FrogPad Inc.'s CEO and President.

"We have tested the device in a variety of applications, and we know that it's easier and faster to learn to type on the FrogPad than on a standard QWERTY keyboard, and we know that it offers more possibilities for mobile computing. The most critical innovation is the impact on typing posture, eliminating the problems associated with typing on the standard keyboard."???The FrogPadTM keyboard enables true mobile computing by eliminating the need to learn a new data entry language, cope with miniature keys and cramped QWERTY layouts, or struggle with two handed entry in a small or desk-less space. Key wireless markets for FrogPad are tablet and wearable pc's, for Clinical Trials, Telematics and Field Force applications, a $90 billion market. Other critical markets are for education, the physically challenged and PhotoShop? and CAD? users. FrogPad's patented data entry technology, keyboard layout and algorithms will be licensed to wireless service providers and manufacturers through a unique multi-phase pilot, integration and deployment process.FrogPad, Inc.

is an innovator in data entry methods for mobile computing and communication.

Digital video recorders (DVRs) are more than toys in our crime infested world. They are a necessary tool for security. In conjunction with CCTV cameras you can record everything that happens in your business 24 hours a day. The days of wondering what is going on in your
other facility are gone.

Using the internet, your business is under your control, 24/7/365. Using your DVR, now you simply open internet explorer, type in your IP address, input the proper username and password and you are remotely viewing a live video feed from your business.

The benefits of digital video recorders are obvious.

Remote viewing is being used more and more in the security industry as people become busier, traffic becomes heavier and the hours that business remains open is lengthening. You can be on vacation in the Bahamas or Mexico and still look in on your business whenever you want.

DVRs are much more sophisticated now than they were even 2 years ago. Using the latest recording compression codecs, you can now get 30+ days on a 250GB hard drive with 8 cameras, if you buy the right DVR. There are so many different manufacturers out there that it's very confusing, plus most (95%) are foreign made.

Many of the cheaper models have from 30-40 buttons on the front, and this is how you program and access the different functions (playback, archive, search, etc) on the digital video recorder. It can be very frustrating and time consuming to learn the complicated sequence of commands.

Or you can simply buy a better DVR and use a keyboard and mouse to access all the functions.

This is much easier and usually only takes a minimal amount of training to learn to use the DVR.

This is why I recommend dealing with a reputable company, and purchasing a digital video recorder that is made in the USA. It is a wise choice for service, parts and support..
